Last year, around this time I had a massive download about the Chinese Lunar Year ( AKA The Dragon Year).
And although I subtly share these in my letters and posts, this one was different, it was personal.
It was like a mission I was assigned and couldn’t possibly share it with a public that just loves parroting the same messages as someone else.
I knew deep down that I wasn’t the only one, yet despite my investigative research the whole 2024 year to find the other ones who would speak about it, I didn’t find any.
This realization made me think of 4 possible scenarios, either:
- They got the message but ignored it.
- They got the message, fulfilled it, shared it, I didn’t see it.
- They got the message, fulfilled it, but didn’t share it.
- They just didn’t receive it.
Now I am sharing this with you because: 1) This download marked my 2024 year, and 2) It’s time for the public to know, maybe 12 years later you’ll remember it.
With that said, let’s dive into the story of the dragon.
1) The History Of The Chinese Zodiac
Now for you to understand what I am saying, you need to be aware of the story of how the Chinese zodiacs have been formed.
So, the story goes back to ancient China, specifically the Han Dynasty (206 BC–220 AD) they needed to create a system in which they could know the time and the energy of what was yet to come for each year.
And with that, they decided to use 12 animals.
If you’re anything like me, you might be wondering why it’s always 12:
- 12 animals
- 12 zodiacs
- 12 months
- 12 disciples.
To give you a simple answer: It’s a mathematical cycle but holds more (spiritual) depth to it.
So after they picked the animals, they needed to order them to determine which year was which and how would they start counting.
Now the story of ordering them goes back to the Jade Emperor, a mythical ruler who decided that the order of the animals would be held by a race to his party.
Whoever came first would lend their name to the first year, setting the sequence for the rest to follow.
And here is how they ultimately lined up at the finish line:
- The Rat
- The Ox
- The Tiger
- The Rabbit
- The Dragon
- The Snake
- The Horse
- The Goat
- The Monkey
- The Rooster
- The Dog
- The Pig
Who arrived in the first position? The Rat.
Can you believe that a rat has more speed than a dragon or a tiger?
Obviously no.
The tale tells that the rat was clever and strategic, so it rode on the back of the Ox and they jumped off at the end to arrive first.
But despite this, the question is:
Why would a dragon arrive in 5th position while obviously, it’s faster than all the other animals of the zodiac?
2) The Dragon Leader
The tale tells that as the dragon was flying by in first position, he saw that some people in the village needed water because of a fire. ( Some tales tell that he stopped to help make rain for all the people on Earth who needed water)
So he paused the race and helped.
Then once he came back to the race, yet again on the finish line, the Dragon spotted a small rabbit (who would eventually finish 4th) struggling to cross a river.
He paused once again and went to help the rabbit.
The dragon provided a little bit of wind that helped the rabbit cross to the other side.
And for those reasons, he arrived in 5th place.
Now you might be wondering why am I telling you these stories and what this has to do with my download.
And the truth is,
Whatever your zodiac is, the previous year was all about embodying the qualities of the dragon.
- Generosity and selflessness
- Sense of responsibility
- Authority and power
It was NOT the year of personal gains.
It was NOT the year of who arrived first.
It was the year of leadership.
It was the year that would separate the real ones from the selfish ones.
This is part of the download I received back in January 2024, I realized that at some point this year, many of us will be called to step down from the race, shut our egos, and maybe do a quick U-turn to help others in need.
And since coincidentally 2+0+2+4 is an 8-year, it means;
- It was the year of collecting goodwill and Karma.
- It was the year of abundance and infinity.
- It was the year of Duality ( light & dark)
With that my friend, if you demonstrated any of these qualities the past year, I’m here to tell you that you’re going to end the 9-year cycle in glory.
and if you didn’t, ask yourself ‘Could I have done better? When I was presented with the free will to help others, why did I refuse it? was I moving from ego or soul?”
and then buckle up for the final year.
The number 9 is the number of:
- The soul, the final stage of spirituality ( 3-6-9 )
- The end of a huge cycle and achieving goals. ( after 9 is 10 = 1)
- Bringing humanity together and being of service.
But the thing is, it’s also the year of the snake.
Shedding the skin and becoming a higher version of yourself is NOT an easy process, but if you embrace the energy of this rise in kundalini, you’ll be transformed forever.
The question is, are you willing to do it?
Thank you for reading.
See you next week.
